The Toronto Police Service is looking for three men in connection with an assault and robbery of a taxi driver near Russell and Robert streets on Dec. 18 at approximately 3 a.m.
It is alleged that the three men were picked up by the taxi a short distance away before asking to stop near the intersection. After stopping they reportedly robbed and assaulted the driver before fleeing.

The Toronto Police Service has arrested and charged 55-year-old Jeffrey Dewey of Toronto with sexual assault and impersonating a peace officer in connection with a Sept. 11 incident. At 12:06 p.m., a 36-year-old woman was in the College Street and Spadina Avenue area, when a man approached her and showed an object resembling a police badge, before proceeding to sexually assault her. It is alleged that Dewey may have assaulted other women, and police are asking them to come forward. Dewey has two distinctive tattoos: a mermaid on his left bicep, and a large multi-coloured star with a human eye in the middle of his right forearm.
