His favorite subjects include; a late-night shinny hockey game, a fresh snowfall in northern Ontario, the hustling urban landscape of downtown Toronto, and the peaceful beaches of Prince Edward Island. The breadth of his subject matter is an exploration of Canadian identity. Brian models his artwork after the great Canadian artists, Cornelius Krieghoff and Ken Danby.
